Genetic Modified Food, and whats this?

Alright, here's the time for me to actually post something useful for viewers, especially for those who take science stream. Genetic Modified Food is the title, and let me take all of you to the briefing of this hard topic.
Of course, we EAT FOOD, and "some eat to live while some live to eat". Food nowadays varies, and they dont just come from the natural source, but also from the source and aid of the knowledge of science. Genetically Mofoed Food, refer to crop plants created for human and animal consumption using the latest molecular biological techniques. These plants have been modified in laboratory to enhance desired traits. WHY? Because, in this uban days, food are usually seen to be so dull and not fresh as well, as there're no more good quality crops. The desired traits included:-
1. increasing the resistance to hebicides
2. improving the nutritional content in food.
3. producing crops which have drought tolerance.

In genetic modified food, genes can be transferred from one another, and genes from non plants organism can also be used to create a new genetically modified food. Example: the use of B.T genes in corn and other crops. The B.T is an occuring bacterium that produces crystals proteins that act as pesticides. When this B.T genes being transfered into the corn, the corn will then being able tp create its own pesticideagainst insects.
Haha...confusing? Well, it is confusing but this way of producing better food for the people nowadays carries tonnes of benefits, such as:,

1. pest resistance-like the B.T corn which has its own pesticide, thus helping farmers to cut budget on giving pesticides onto the corn.

2. drought tolerance food-as more land is established into housing area instead of crop plantations, places to grow crops will be lesser and unsuitable for growing plants. Creating palnts that can withstand long periods of drought or high salt content in soil and groundwater will help people to grow more crops eventhough in an inhospitable place.

3. more nutritious, such as the brown rice which has more beta carotene or vitamin A for third world countries which suffer from malnutrition.

4. Pharmaceuticals-Researchers are currently trying to create edible vaccines in tomatoes and potatoes. This vaccines will be more easier to be shipped, stored administered than traditional injectible vaccines.

5. Phytoremediation- This is perhaps a bombastic science term. As we see, not all GM plants are grown into crops. Soil and groundwater pollutions continue to trigger the world's migrain. Plants such as poplar trees have genetically engineered to clean up heavy metal pollution from contaminated soil.

Haha, see why people especially scientist try everyday and night to create genetically modifed food?? They give so many benefits in order to keep us healthy, but wait, they also bring several cons, like environmental hazards, strong immunity of insects towards the insecticides.
